A Little About Glen Rose ("Dinosaur City")
Glen Rose is one extremely popular Texas tourist town and is located at a picturesque spot on the Paluxy River where it merges with the mighty Brazos River. It is the county seat of Somervell County and was established as a trading post in 1849.
